What lifting capacity do I need?
It depends on the vehicles you plan to service. For standard passenger cars, a 2,500–3,000 kg capacity is typically sufficient. For SUVs, vans, and light trucks, we recommend 3,500–5,000 kg. If you work on heavier commercial vehicles, we offer models rated up to 10,000 kg and beyond. If you're unsure, our team can help you choose the right capacity.
What is the difference between a low-rise, mid-rise, and full-rise scissor lift?
Low-rise lifts raise the vehicle approximately 1,000 mm — ideal for quick tasks like tyre changes and brake inspections. Mid-rise lifts reach around 1,500 mm, giving partial standing access underneath. Full-rise lifts achieve approximately 1,900 mm of clearance, allowing a technician to stand fully upright under the vehicle for comprehensive repairs.
What is the difference between a surface-mount and flush-mount lift?
A surface-mount lift sits on top of your existing workshop floor and has a low collapsed height of around 85–130 mm. A flush-mount lift is recessed into a pit in the floor so that the platform sits perfectly level with the ground when lowered, allowing vehicles to drive over it freely. Flush-mount requires more installation work but offers a cleaner workshop layout.
